Terms of Sale

1. Who we are

Girona Bike Pics is operated by Ricard Peña, based in Girona, Spain. Contact: hola@gironabikepics.com. Full identification details, including our NIF, are published on our Legal Notice page.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the purchase of digital photographs, and where offered, printed products, through our online galleries hosted on Pixieset and linked from gironabikepics.com.

3. Products and pricing

Prices are shown in EUR and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices for future sales at any time; the price shown at the time of your order is the price you pay.

4. Placing an order

You place an order by selecting images in a gallery and completing checkout through our payment provider. An order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed.

5. Delivery of digital images

Digital images are made available for download immediately after payment is confirmed, through your Pixieset gallery. It is your responsibility to download and back up your files; download links may expire after a period shown in your gallery.

6. Right of withdrawal — digital content

Under EU consumer law, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. This right does not apply to digital content once download has begun, provided you gave prior express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal by doing so. By completing your purchase and confirming this at checkout, you agree that delivery begins immediately and that your withdrawal right ends at that point.

7. Printed products (if applicable)

If we offer printed products, these are produced specifically from the images you select and are therefore considered custom-made goods. As such, the standard 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to printed orders, except in the case of a manufacturing defect or delivery error.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Because digital delivery is immediate, refunds are not guaranteed once files have been downloaded. If something has gone wrong with your order (wrong file, corrupted download, duplicate charge), contact hola@gironabikepics.com and we will resolve it in good faith.

9. Image usage rights

Purchasing a digital image or print gives you a personal usage license only — it does not transfer copyright. What you can and cannot do with your images is set out in our separate Digital Image License.

10. People who appear in photos

Some galleries, particularly from group rides or events, may include other identifiable people alongside you. Purchasing a photo does not grant you any rights over other people who appear in it beyond personal, incidental use.

11. Intellectual property

All images remain the copyright of Girona Bike Pics / Ricard Peña at all times, whether or not purchased.

12. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our images or services, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hola@gironabikepics.com so we can try to resolve it directly. As a Spain-based trader, you may also refer unresolved consumer disputes to the Junta Arbitral de Consumo. Note: the EU's centralised Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in July 2025 and is no longer available; a directory of national consumer dispute-resolution bodies is available at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence may still apply.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
